Event Overview
The 10th Annual American Gratitude Combat Veterans Hunt and Family Retreat is scheduled to take place in the Garden City area from November 5 to November 8, 2026. This meaningful event is dedicated to Warriors—combat veterans—and their families. The retreat is organized by American Gratitude, Inc. (AGI), with the support of donations from individuals who share a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who have served in America’s military warzones. The goal is to honor these veterans and provide their families with opportunities for peaceful connection, allowing them to spend time with others who are experiencing similar challenges as they reintegrate into civilian life.
Selection and Support
Families who attend the retreat are carefully selected by American Gratitude. AGI ensures that all lodging, meals, and activities during the retreat are fully paid for, offering participants a stress-free experience. Successful applicants are only responsible for arranging and covering their transportation to and from the retreat location.
Retreat Activities and Agenda
The retreat features unique agendas tailored for Warriors, spouses, and dependents, allowing each group to benefit from specialized activities and support. Throughout each day, there are designated times for families to come together and create new memories, strengthening their bonds and sharing experiences with other participants.
Military Appreciation Dinner & Benefit
The event concludes with a Military Appreciation Dinner & Benefit on November 7, 2026, held at the American Legion in Garden City, KS. This closing celebration offers a special opportunity for the public and AGI supporters to meet and interact with the attendees, allowing them to express America’s deepest gratitude in person.
